The text below is a general overview of the process to secure your warranty guarantee. As Tarion is the warranty administrator, it is important to refer to their rules and guidance about completing the requirements to submit a claim. For more information, please see www.Tarion.com

You have access to warranty coverage from the builder for deficiencies in your home. This warranty is provided to you by your builder or vendor and backed by Tarion.

If you have identified defects with your home, you need to meet with your builder within 30 days after you become the owner and submit a "30-Day Form" to both your builder and Tarion to make a claim. The "30-Day Form" must be submitted in order to make claims on any deficiencies that have not been completed or repaired since your Pre-Delivery Inspection. The list on your 30-Day Form can also include any deficiencies that were discovered after you moved in.

Sign up for MyHome, Tarion’s online portal to help you stay on top of your warranty. You’ll be able to receive e-mail alerts for important dates, submit warranty claim forms and schedule conciliation inspections.
